Roller derby league rebranding for 2018
Casco Bay Gentlemen’s Derby has officially been rebranded Casco Bay Roller Derby. This is to better reflect the league’s identity and its principles. The league welcomes all skaters regardless of gender and the rebranding to Casco Bay Roller Derby supports this. One does not have to be a gentleman to skate with the league, and thus the league wants a name that reflects that all are welcome to participate.
What is not changing is the league’s pursuit of fun, competition, and good sportsmanship. This is not a change of who the league is, but rather a change to the league name to better reflect the league itself.
